What's the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?

A Wedding Planner supports you throughout your entire wedding journey—from budgeting and venue selection to vendor recommendations, planning and coordination.

A Wedding Coordinator joins your wedding preparation closer to the big day. We focus on reviewing your plans, coordinating with your vendors, finalising the programme and managing the entire wedding day so everything runs smoothly.

If you're unsure which service is right for you, we're happy to guide you based on your current planning progress.

When should we hire a coordinator?

We generally recommend confirming your Wedding Coordinator 6–8 months before your wedding, especially during peak wedding seasons.

Our coordination process typically begins around two months before your wedding, giving us sufficient time to understand your plans, finalise the details, coordinate with your vendors and prepare a smooth wedding day timeline.

Why can't my venue coordinator do this?

Venue coordinators represent the venue. Our coordinators represent you.

Do you contact all our vendors?

Yes.

We'll communicate directly with your confirmed vendors before the wedding to review the itinerary, clarify responsibilities, confirm arrival times and ensure everyone understands the overall programm.

Our vendor briefing is usually conducted 1–2 weeks before the wedding, allowing us to resolve potential issues before the big day.

Will you conduct a rehearsal?

Yes, if your wedding includes a rehearsal.

We'll organise and conduct the rehearsal, guiding the wedding party, family members and vendors through the programme so everyone understands their roles before the wedding day.

A proper rehearsal helps reduce uncertainty and allows the actual wedding to run much more smoothly.

How many coordinators will be present?

Our Wedding Coordinator Package includes 4 coordinators on-site for up to 6 hours.

Each team member is assigned specific responsibilities, such as programme coordination, bride assistance, vendor communication, guest support and behind-the-scenes operations, ensuring every part of the wedding is well managed.

Can you coordinate weddings outside Penang?

Although we're based in Penang, we regularly coordinate weddings throughout Northern Malaysia, including Kedah, Perak and selected destinations such as Kuala Lumpur too.

If your wedding is outside these areas, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to discuss the arrangements.

Can you work with vendors we booked ourselves?

Absolutely.

We're happy to work alongside any professional vendors you've selected. Our role is to coordinate everyone involved, ensuring clear communication and helping each vendor work together as one team on your wedding day.
